Hi,
I am from Lithuania.
I am very glad to found your interent site. Soviet time it was not ideal, but it was better than nowdays without any doubt. This site takes me hope, that the better life is possible.
I believe, that ideas of communism will come back with new power after about 30-40 years. K. Marx said, that capitalism must develop the Worrl and prepared it to socialism and communism. So, globalization allows for capitalism to do it. I am 23 years old now. I have hope to wait this time.
So, some issues for your page.
It's sorry, that there are no lithuanian soviet songs, except national anthem. Lithaunia is not "country of songs", but there are some very good songs. For example " Boys needs a sky", the song for pilots. This song was criticised as song of occupants about 10 years ago, but no it is very popular again, even in capitalist time.
Why there are so much songs about Stalin in this site? Stalin was a tiron, of course. But he was fallen down in 1956.
Excuse me for bad English

Tarybine Lietuva liaudis sukure,
Uz laisve ir tiesa kovojus ilgai.
Kur Vilnius, kur Nemunas, Baltijos jura,
Ten klesti mus miestai, derlingi laukai.

Tarybu Sajungoj slovingoj,
Tarp lygiu lygi ir laisva,
Gyvuok per amzius, buk laiminga,
Brangi Tarybu Lietuva!

I laisve mums Leninas nusviete kelia,
Padejo kovoj didi rusu tauta.
Mus Partija veda j laime ir galia,
Tautu mus draugyste kaip plienas tvirta.

Tarybu Sajungoj slovingoj,
Tarp lygiu lygi ir laisva,
Gyvuok per amzius, buk laiminga,
Brangi Tarybu Lietuva!

Tevyne galinga, nibijam pavoiju,
Tibuna padange taiki ir tyra.
Mes darbu sukursim didinga rytoju,
Ir zeme nusvies komunizmo ausra.

Tarybu Sajungoj slovingoj,
Tarp lygiu lygi ir laisva,
Gyvuok per amzius, buk laiminga,
Brangi Tarybu Lietuva!
